Mercer County, you rock! Thank you so much for the caring attitude you have for others! We were competing with the 127 Yard Sale and Back to School shopping and you still donated 413 pounds of food and $471 cash to help the Christian Life Center feed those who have been affected by SNAP cuts and/or just higher prices for food.

We can’t thank you enough for your generosity!

🥫 Mercer County Comes Together! 💙

This weekend, members and volunteers of the Mercer County Democratic Club were proud to join Democrats across Kentucky in a statewide effort to support local food pantries — and our Mercer County community showed up!

Thanks to the generosity of our neighbors, our food drive collected much-needed food and pantry staples for the Christian Life Center Food Pantry, helping support individuals and families right here in our community.

A very special thank you to Harrodsburg Kroger and Norby’s Farm Fleet for graciously allowing us to set up collection sites at their businesses. Their hospitality and support helped make this effort possible.

And, most importantly, thank you to everyone who stopped by and donated. Whether you gave a single can or a bag full of groceries, every contribution matters.

Community is about taking care of one another. We’re grateful to live in a place where our neighbors continue to step up when there is a need.

💙 We Care, Mercer County.
