🏁 START YOUR ENGINES! 🏁

The road to Daytona starts NOW.

Beginning June 1, EANGUS is launching the official “Race to Daytona” Membership Drive — a nationwide challenge to grow our Association, strengthen our voice, and fuel the future of EANGUS.

From June 1 through the opening of the EANGUS National Conference in Daytona Beach, every NEW EANGUS member recruited earns ONE LAP for their State Association in the race toward the finish line.

New members can join the race by visiting eangus.org/join, selecting their home state, and joining their State Association.

At the conference:
🏆 The State Association with the most laps will take the checkered flag as the 2026 EANGUS Membership Champion.

🏆 Areas 1–7 will also compete as teams, with the Area earning the most total laps crowned the 2026 Area Membership Cup Champion.

Membership is the fuel that powers EANGUS.

Our membership numbers directly impact our strength and influence when advocating for National Guard members, retirees, veterans, and military families at both the State and Federal levels. A larger membership gives EANGUS a stronger voice with lawmakers, military leaders, corporate partners, and allied organizations as we fight for benefits, readiness, quality of life, and the future of the National Guard.

Every new member strengthens our mission.
Every recruit expands our influence.
Every lap moves us closer to victory.

This is more than a competition — it is an opportunity to grow the Association, build stronger State Associations, and show the power of the enlisted force across all 54 states and territories.

So fire up your engines, rally your teams, and let’s race to Daytona!

YOUR voices made this happen 💪

NGACT members testified, advocated, and pushed hard for HB 5003 and Governor Ned Lamont signed it into law. The elimination of mandatory university fees for eligible Guard members participating in the tuition waiver program is a direct result of your commitment to your fellow Soldiers and Airmen.

This is what advocacy looks like. This is what our association is for. We are proud to stand beside every member who helped carry this across the finish line 🎉

Speak their names, share their stories, and remember that remembrance is more than tradition - it is our responsibility.

Memorial Day | Remembering Every Generation of Heroes 🇺🇸

Today, EANGUS pauses to honor and remember those who wore the uniform and never made it home — the brothers and sisters-in-arms who stood watch, answered the call, and made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our Nation and our freedoms.

From the Minutemen who first stood in defense of liberty, to every generation of service members who followed, their legacy lives on in the freedoms we enjoy and in the lives they forever changed.

Memorial Day is more than the beginning of summer. It is a day set aside to remember those we served beside, those who shared the mission, carried the burden, and whose names and memories remain with us still.

Today we remember every generation of heroes.
Today we honor their sacrifice.
Today we pledge that they will never be forgotten.

"All gave some. Some gave all."

The Connecticut National Guard remains ready to serve our state and nation at all times. We are grateful for your continued support as we honor our fallen heroes this Memorial Day weekend.
