Ryan joined Wiregrass Electric Cooperative in 2014 as an Engineering Technician and has since grown into the role of Manager of Engineering. As a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Alabama, Ryan plays a vital role in designing and maintaining the electric system that delivers safe, reliable power to our members.

When he's not helping plan for the future of WEC, Ryan is investing in the future of our community. He has served as both a Loaned Executive and Funds Distribution Committee member for Wiregrass United Way, helping support organizations that make a difference throughout the Wiregrass.

Ryan is also an active member of Hartford Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon and on the church's finance committee. For the past 10 years, he has dedicated his time to coaching youth football, basketball, and baseball, mentoring young athletes both on and off the field.

Whether he's strengthening our electric system or strengthening our community, Ryan exemplifies what it means to be Rooted in Community. Ready for Tomorrow.

⚠️ Outage Alert ⚠️

We are currently experiencing an outage in the Ashford area as we have lost our transmission line that feeds our Ashford substation. There was a lightning strike near the Ashford office that broke the static line and fell into the transmission.

💡 Our E&O team is working with PowerSouth to address this issue. Thankfully, with our investment in Technology we are able to do some switching to bring as many members back up as possible while repairs are being made. Our linemen are in the area responding to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Our Operation Roundup Charitable Foundation was proud to present a check to the Coffee Springs Volunteer Fire Department this afternoon to help upgrade critical firefighting equipment.

🚒 This funding will help equip the department's newer fire truck with the essential tools needed to better serve the community while also replacing aging equipment that has reached the end of its service life.🧯

We are honored to support the first responders who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe and grateful to our Operation Roundup members for making grants like this possible.

Through our Operation Roundup Foundation and our partnership with WTVY News 4 in the Silent Heroes of the Wiregrass program, we are able to honor a hero each month in the Wiregrass area that gives back to our communities. Thank you to our members that participate in Operation Roundup. It’s because of them that we are able to give back to the communities we serve. Congratulations to Sailor Summers!!

✨This morning, our Operation Roundup Charitable Foundation was proud to present a grant to Wiregrass Emergency Pregnancy Services to help fund important facility improvements. The grant supported upgrades to key structural elements, including new steps at the client services entrance, helping ensure the facility meets safety standards and provides a safe, welcoming environment for those it serves.
