The City of New York has officially released a statement today declaring a local state of emergency ahead of a severe snowstorm expected to impact New York City. To ensure the safety of residents, city streets will be closed to non-essential vehicular traffic from 9 pm on February 22 to noon on February 23, 2026.
To respond to the city government’s emergency planning, will close on 2/23/2026, and the consular service will be suspended as well. If you need to reschedule your consular appointments, please utilize our online booking service.
