💜 Meet Maliha Ahsan. Maliha serves as Chair of the CT Dem’s Muslim Caucus, sits on Manchester’s Planning & Zoning Commission, and is an active member of the town’s DTC. With years of grassroots organizing and legislative outreach, she is deeply committed to advancing equity and justice in the communities she serves.

💝 Meet our NEW Co-Chair, Ebaa Mohmed❣️Ebaa is the Director of the Muslim Justice Center, a board member at the New Britain Mosque, and serves on the steering committee of the CT Palestine Solidarity Coalition. Her work is rooted in community, faith, and a deep commitment to justice.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Connecticut Democratic Party's Muslim Caucus. We are proud to launch a page dedicated to uplifting the voices, values, heritage, and leadership of Muslim Americans across our state. Our mission is to build political power, drive meaningful change, and ensure our communities are represented at every level of government.

My name is Maliha Ahsan, and I’m honored to serve as your new Chair. I'm a proud first generation Bengali, Muslim-American and I'm committed to creating a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable society through outreach and civic engagement.
