Kickoff Saturday of the Rodeo by supporting our media students and running the 5k. Walking is allowed and kiddos can ride their bikes. Shoutout to Day County Services for sponsoring the race and to the Ellis County Sheriff's Office for keeping our course safe. See you there!

This Week Wrapped!

It was another busy and exciting week at Arnett! From celebrating our outstanding students to hands-on learning. Our Wildcats continue to make us proud!

Around the School

Elementary Students of the Month - August
We are so proud of these students and all they are accomplishing.

Ms. Girton spent some time reading with our kindergarten students.

Coach Tune's classes put their skills to work this week as they built birdhouses.

Our A Town students went out and about to sell ads for this upcoming year.

Lady Cat Softball
Alex Strick and Lauryn Bayless had a great week at the plate, leading the way with some strong hitting.

The Lady Cats battled through a hard-fought, well-played game against Leedey, falling in extra innings.

We came out swinging against the Waynoka Railroaders, earning a 14-1 victory in three innings.

Wildcat Baseball
Our high school team was led by Levi Starkey with a great week at the plate.

The Wildcats brought the hot bats against Sweetwater, coming away with a dominant 22-1 victory.

Junior High had another great week. Crew Watson stood out with strong performances both on the mound and at the plate.

We are proud of all of our Wildcats!

This Week Wrapped
This week, our students and staff had the honor of being part of Governor Stitt’s 77 County Tour. Our students had the opportunity to listen, ask questions, and be a part of this special event. We are proud of our students and our town!

Wildcat Baseball
The Wildcat Baseball team faced Hammon, Goodwell, and Cheyenne-Reydon this week. It was a hard fought week for the Wildcats. Nicolas Sant’Anna threw six complete innings, facing 33 batters in a tough game against Cheyenne-Reydon.

Our sixth-eighth grade baseball team was able to play after the high school games throughout the week and remain undefeated. Kreed Dunham threw three complete innings to help lead the Wildcats to a victory over the Cheyenne-Reydon Bears on Thursday. Junior High will close out the week at home against Vici today.

Lady Cat Softball
The Lady Cat softball team faced Vici and Laverne early this week. The bats were hot, as the Lady Cats started the week with two run-rule victories!

Alex Strick led the Lady Cats on Monday, going 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs. Lauryn Bayless showed her quickness on the bases with three stolen bases against the Vici Lady Indians.

On Tuesday, seniors Hadley Brooks and Madi Haney stepped up and led the Lady Cats to another victory. The Lady Cats are currently competing in the Arapaho Tournament, with games scheduled for today and Saturday.

Arnett FFA
Our FFA was busy this week, helping with Governor Stitt’s visit and hosting their annual Ice Cream Social. We are proud of the hard work and involvement of our FFA members!

Another great week to be a Wildcat!
