In light of recent events it has become necessary to set a few guidelines and expectations for our group.
1. We are not a charitable organization. There are organizations available to help when necessary and some of our members may be helpful in steering the needy to them.
2. No member of this group is obligated to financially or emotionally support any other member. We are a veteran group and our sole purpose is to hopefully make connections with other veterans but none of us are responsible for anyone's emotional or financial support.
3. All of us had different jobs in both peace time and/or during armed conflict, the military damaged us, some more then others, both visible and hidden damage. Everyone handles situations differently and we will not judge or hold a grudge when one of us doesn't handle a situation the way we think it should be handled.
4. We joke, we poke fun, we curse and make sexual innuendos. Unless it is illegal or immoral, nothing at our get-togethers will be used in any way to harm any member.
