Last Wednesday, the Suffolk County Film Commission conducted a site visit at the Boulton Center for the Performing Arts. This 261-seat theater in Bay Shore hosts a variety of entertainment events and made for the perfect location to discuss how to promote the County as the premier destination for filming.

We would like to give a special thank you to Frank Boulton for hosting us and for the tour of the newly refurbished theater!

We look forward to seeing everyone at our next meeting in a couple of months!

On Friday, the Suffolk County Film Commission had the pleasure of getting a tour of the renovated Sunset Theater in Westhampton Beach! For more than just watching movies, Sunset Theater creates an experience for guests. There are 2 beautiful theaters, along with an outdoor space for live music and a piano bar on the second floor.

The Suffolk County Film Commission works hard to support and promote filming across the County. They also advise the County on programs and opportunities that strengthen economic growth in our County through film, film festivals, and places where Suffolk County citizens can watch and enjoy film.
