The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Protecting K9 Heroes for their generous donation of a K9 first aid kit for K9 Max.

Protecting K9 Heroes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing life-saving equipment to K9 units across the United States, and their support plays a vital role in helping agencies like ours keep our four-legged partners safe while they serve our community.

K9 Max is an important member of our team, assisting in law enforcement operations and helping protect the citizens of Hancock County. Just like our deputies, K9 Max faces unpredictable and sometimes dangerous situations. Having a properly equipped K9 first aid kit on hand ensures that in the event of an emergency, we can provide immediate care until veterinary treatment is available. This can make a critical difference in protecting his health and saving his life.

We are incredibly thankful for organizations like Protecting K9 Heroes that recognize the dedication and sacrifice of K9 officers and work to ensure they have the equipment they need to stay safe.

Thank you again for your support of K9 Max and law enforcement across the nation.

However, we will not be able to complete the inspection unless the $15 fee is paid at the time of the inspection. We will only accept cash/check for this fee payment.
