Did you know?
1. City of Hays partners with Grow Hays to help developers and small businesses.
2. Hays has approximately over 200+ living units that will be built in the next 5 years or less
3. Hays has said yes to numerous developers to build low income housing in the last few years. None have been built because they are dependent on state and federal funding. With out this funding they simply can’t build low income housing.
4. Last time Hays said no to development was to a developer out of Colby. We messed up and changed our development policy shortly after.
