Eddie wasn’t just a co-worker. “EB” was a mentor, a coach, an advisor, and so much more. More than any of those titles, he held a very special one- “friend”. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing or working with this larger-than-life man, knows his heart was 3 times the size of himself. He would literally drop everything and run. The friend you didn’t talk to all the time, but when you did, you picked up right where you left off.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, blood and blue, in the next several weeks.

Had a great day meeting folks and giving out signs and t-shirts today. Talked in Waynesville with Beth Elsey and Brett Hale about how we can improve treatment for persons with substance abuse disorders, and then my campaign manager’s neighbors Bart and Cassie Jones braved the rain in Canton to come meet me.
