It helps greatly if we have direct contact with the owner of the lost dog (or finder of a stray), in order to stay on top of the sightings, updates, and assist with any help needed. Here is the information we need in order to post your lost dog: good photo, dog breed, name, location from where he went missing (city, street name, cross street), coloring, is he wearing a collar (tags?), is he microc

hipped? and personality traits that will contribute to his being found and captured (friendly? ok with other dogs? people?). Ask for our "What to do if You've Lost Your Dog" or "What to Do if You've Found a Dog" flyers. Each contain helpful advice for your situation. Or click on the cover photo and download them from there. This page is managed by two volunteers, who work full-time in addition to dedicating themselves to this cause. Josie is a Rocket Dog Rescue dog, who ran from her foster home in Santa Rosa in January 2013. After 12 days of being loose in Rincon Valley (Santa Rosa) she was found and safely captured. After 6 weeks in a foster home, she found her forever home. Josie's plight has inspired those who searched for her to create a page in her honor... to help find lost dogs in the same county.

Mac went missing this morning from 17460 old Monte rio rd in guerneville, he’s wearing a collar with tags and owner’s contact info. Please be on the lookout for out for him and report if found or any sightings asap, he’s friendly but maybe a little skittish around people he doesn’t know
