Attention community members: This is Rafal. He is a university student from Europe. He is doing a summer exchange program selling educational books and apps for families from young toddlers all the way to college prep. You may see him around the community today or he may come knocking on your door. Don’t be alarmed, he is legit and checked in at city hall to let us know what he is doing.

There was a wallet dropped off at city hall belonging to Joshua Cruse. Please message or call the office at 479-284-5371 to arrange pick up.

There was a bear spotted this morning in the area around Cherry Street & Walnut Road. Please be aware and do not leave dog food sitting outside or throw scraps out near your home.

We will be having a Volunteer Clean Up Day at Linton Park on Saturday, August 1st from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Our Fire Department will also be cleaning up the haunted trail area at Cecil Riley Memorial Park on August 1st from 7 a.m.-10 a.m.

This is a wonderful opportunity for high school students who need to earn community service hours.

Please join us in improving our parks and strengthening our community.

There are a couple of ladies out taking pictures around the community today. This is for potential grant opportunities for our city. If you see them out feel free to chat with them; they would like to hear from community members regarding what is needed in our town and how we can improve our parks, etc.
