An amazing turnout for the ribbon cutting of Get Joy Ice Cream & Coffee on Route 378 hosted by Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber...they certainly picked the right day to open an ice cream shop in 91F heat! I'm proud & happy to welcome this business to our community, which hires people of all abilities, proving that when given an opportunity anyone can succeed. Be sure to stop by and help support this local establishment. Side note: I had the moosetracks with chocolate syrup...and it was delicious!! ☀️🥵🍦

Flip the Seventh Blue: General Election Kickoff for Bob Brooks...What struck me about this event is seeing all the primary contenders rally behind the candidate chosen by the people and the energy of the crowd in coming together, sharing common ideals of accountability, honesty & integrity in public service and doing what's right to help our Country, Commonwealth & Community. 🇺🇸💙

Looking forward to nice weather for Heritage Day tomorrow. I'll be at the Heller Homestead and hope to see you there...make sure to bring a non-perishable food item for our local food banks!🇺🇸

Heritage Day is tomorrow, and there is so much to see and do throughout the Saucon Valley community!

Be sure to take advantage of the shuttle service running to and from the Grist Mill attraction in Hellertown and Heller Homestead in Lower Saucon Township on Water Street.

As part of the celebration, please consider bringing a non-perishable food item to symbolize the food collections that took place during the Revolutionary War right here in Saucon Valley. All donations will benefit our local food pantries.

Events will run continuously from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Come out and enjoy a day of history, community, and family fun!
