The results of the election clearly show a mandate for positive change in our community. Lower Saucon Township has contracted with LVPC to conduct an assessment of options for future economic growth. We welcome you to share your feedback & ideas during this public event at Saucon Valley High School on Monday March 16th, 2026 @ 7pm.

Join the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Saucon Valley Senior High School Auditorium for an important public meeting hosted in partnership with the Economic Development Task Force as part of the Lower Saucon Community Assessment process.

This meeting is an opportunity for residents, business owners, and stakeholders to provide input that will help guide future planning, land use decisions, economic development strategy, and community priorities.

Heller Homestead Park

Food Collection Wagon
- During Heritage Day, we invite the community to help us honor Saucon Valley’s Revolutionary‑era spirit of service by donating unexpired, non‑perishable food dry, jarred or canned goods.

A collection wagon will be placed at the Heller Homestead, symbolizing the provisions our early farmers — led by the Michael Heller family — once supplied to support Washington’s troops during the harsh winter at Valley Forge. All donations will benefit local families in need.

Volunteer Speakers
- 11:00 am - Tim Platek will be portraying a Revolutionary War Chaplin, will give a short service honoring our Saucon Valley Revolutionary Patriots

- 11:30 am - Retired Colonel Jake Laubach will talk about the Laubach family and the Revolutionary War

- Telling the stories of our Revolutionary War patriots from the Saucon Valley area by Jake and by local students

- 1:30 pm - John Dryer will talk about The Continental Army and the Militia in the Revolutionary War

- All Day - Nelson Chegezy will talk about the 18th Century Revolutionary War Era

Demonstrations and Presentations
- 153rd PA Volunteer Infantry Union soldiers will be encamped on site at Heller Homestead along with living historian, Linda Minarik portraying Mary Todd Lincoln.

- Current Plans for the Park and Barn Improvements will be shown.
Learn about the exciting plans to restore the Michael Heller Barn ruins and park improvements.

Food and Beverages
- Ice Cream Truck will be available all day
- Bake Goods
- Shoofly Pies (limited availability)

Entertainment
- Music will be provided from 11:00 am 2:00 pm by the Ariana Fox Trio
