Qualified applicants will be invited to test on Monday, March 16, with an option to take the physical test on Sunday, March 15th.
Starting salary for recruits:
• Firefighter Recruit EMT: $55,526
• Firefighter Recruit AEMT: $58,526
• Firefighter Recruit Paramedic: $62,026
Starting salary for certified firefighters (certified FFII with 2+ years of paid structural firefighting experience):
• Firefighter EMT: $59,993
• Firefighter AEMT: $62,993
• Firefighter Paramedic: $66,493
Other pay and benefits:
• 48/96 work schedule
• Educational pay incentive available
• 5% salary increase after successful completion of 12-month probationary period
• Eligible for driver promotion at three years
• TCRS retirement

Minimum Requirements:
• 21+ years old
• 60 college credits OR 30+ college credits with 2 years as a paid structural firefighter
Preferred:
• Firefighter II (IFSAC/ProBoard) and Paramedic (TN/NREMT)
