In SAU24 we believe that all learners need to be prepared for their futures, so we make sure that our newest teachers are Ready-to-Go through a five-day orientation.

This year we ensured that our first- and second-year staff were ready by digging deeply into some pretty important topics, including:

High-Leverage Instructional Practices,
Instructional Planning,
Teacher-Student Relationships,
Communication with Families,
Data-driven Interventions, and
Universal Design for Learning!

They’re Ready-to-Go with students next week!

As the new school year approaches, now is a great time to start resetting bedtime and morning routines. A few tips: ease into an earlier bedtime, practice the morning routine a few days in advance, pack backpacks the night before, and reduce screen time before bed.

Calling all Stoddard & local maple harvesters! 🍁

The Stoddard Newts are learning all about how maple syrup is harvested, and we’d love to make this lesson extra sweet with help from our local sugarmakers!

We’re inviting maple harvesters to join us for a Maple Harvest Breakfast on Friday, March 27th. Bring a jar of your maple syrup to share samples with the kids, talk about your process, and answer their curious questions.

As a thank-you for your time (and syrup!), please stay and enjoy a waffle breakfast on us 🧇
