Back to school!

JULY 25TH, 2018

We contracted for the grass to be seeded after it had been disturbed due to the construction phase. Since that time the grass that is growing in front of the white fencing and a few other places throughout the lawn is growing out of control and we cannot keep up with the demands of cutting. Curious as to what this was, we took samples of it to a professional and have been told that it is crabgrass and will take over our entire lawn if it isn’t removed. At this point, we have no other option but to kill the lawn at these two facilities and start over.

We will be spraying the lawn and the weeds in front of the fencing to perform a total kill off. Once this is completed, we will be reseeding the lawns so that we can once again enjoy, beautiful green grass.

As many of you may have heard, we are in a severe drought and everyone has been requested to minimize water usage for the purposes of watering lawns, flowers, etc. The ideal time to re-seed is in the fall when the seeds can germinate and have the moisture needed to grow next spring. We understand this is an inconvenience to everyone and will certainly affect the overall appearance of our properties. Please know, we understand and will work quickly to re-establish the lawns.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at the number listed above.

Just an FYI!

The City is having the sanitary sewers cleaned by Mayer on the West side of the Overpass starting May 31st.

The City is having the sanitary sewers cleaned in your area: West side of the Overpass beginning May 31st to June 8th. Starting about 7am and lasting most of the day.

Sewer lines can develop air pressure or a partial vacuum from the cleaning process. Usually any excess air pressure or vacuum will dissipate through your plumbing vents, but occasionally there are homes with inadequate plumbing vents (no vents, undersized vents or obstructed vents). In the case of inadequate venting air pressure could escape through your toilet, floor, sink, tub or shower drains causing water to splash out or, a vacuum could draw the water out of your fixture traps causing an unpleasant odor. To guard against this possibility please:

*Cover all floor drains with plastic and place a weight on the plastic
*Cover all toilets with plastic and close the lid on the plastic
*If you should experience an unpleasant odor, run water into each drain to re-fill the traps.
*Water and drains may be used as normal.

The cleaning of sanitary sewers is necessary to help prevent stoppages.

Thank you for your cooperation. Our apologies for this inconvenience.

If you have any questions, please call 785-258-2271
