Stop leaving your kids with them.

Stop leaving your children with your boyfriends you barely know.

Stop letting your family members you don't entirely trust watch them because it's free.

If you have a gut feeling about someone that doesn't sit right with you when it comes to your child, cut all ties with this person.

If your little one comes to you and says I don't want to stay with a particular person .... do me a favor and listen to them.

On June 29, the R&B singer R. Kelly (whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly) was sentenced to 30 years in prison. He was found guilty September 27, 2021, of racketeering and s*x-trafficking charges stemming from a decades-long practice of recruiting and grooming girls and young women for illegal s*x.

Judge Ann Donnelly, who oversaw his trial, handed down this sentence, plus an additional five years of supervised release and a $100,000 fine. Donnelly condemned Kelly for the "serial r**e and s*xual abuse" he perpetrated on his victims.

During the prosecution, more than 40 witnesses were called to testify in Kelly's summer 2020 trial. The women, many of whom were teenagers when they met Kelly, testified that he directed them to have s*x with him and each other and said he would videotape their s*xual encounters. Kelly is scheduled to stand trial in August on child s*xual abuse material (child po*******hy) and obstruction of justice charges.

Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Tuesday for helping the s*x offender and globetrotting financier Jeffrey Epstein s*xually abuse teenage girls.

This is a no-brainer. Honestly, I don’t understand why a Senator “needs” the backing of his constituents to bring this one up to the Senate. Why do we need to prove that voters wish to protect children from abuse?

I’m a homeschooling mom and I have no problem doing a 7-hr video course to learn about child abuse (detecting and reporting). Because that means others are doing it as well…and collectively, children will be saved!

My name is Darcie Velez and God has put it on my heart to try my best to help prevent child abuse on all levels (s*xual, physical, mental, and emotional).

This world is filled with sick and broken people. Our society has made it easier than ever for predators to hurt our children. Parents are at a loss on how to best protect their children. There are many programs out there with lots of great information. However, it is not filtering down with enough saturation to both the children and their families. 

“Kids Saving kids” is my vision of infiltrating every school and private homes nationwide; of inspiring children on how to protect themselves, their siblings, and their friends; of inspiring children to teach their parents on what to do and where to get resources to educate and protect themselves.

Enough is enough! Every child knows to dial 911 in an emergency, to stop drop and roll, that only they can prevent forest fires, to give a hoot and not pollute, to take a bite out of crime… They should know what to do against adult abusers as well! 

I am currently looking for people who wish to help! Right now, I am currently researching and investigating. I have been talking to law enforcement, social workers, school administrators and teachers, parents, etc. I am also trying to find existing literature and resources that can be used. 

Right now, I am looking for people who can help me! I’m looking for people willing to:
- research (either virtually or meeting with others in person)
- help me get a business off the ground
- raise money to move this organization
- network with others
- brainstorm to create a program that actually helps children
