A slow count is not automatically a suspicious count.

California law allows Vote by Mail ballots postmarked by Election Day to arrive within the legal timeline. LA County’s data shows those ballots were sorted as valid or invalid, and the party breakdowns were basically the same.

Tom Steyer concedes, and Gavin Newsom endorses Xavier Becerra for California governor.

Becerra will face Republican Steve Hilton in November 3 general election.
