Please keep Barry Hatcher, one of our full-time instructors, and his family in your prayers. His beloved wife, Melany, has passed away. Here is the link to her obituary along with information about the memorial service Saturday, Sept. 5.
Barry and Melany have been a team in their service to the Lord for many years, and have made a tremendous impact for the kingdom through FOM, their Indonesia work, and more.

It has been a whirlwind of a summer! Besides VBSs and Bible camps here at home, we have also been able to work in both the Philippines and Kenya. In July, my family of 5 went to work in Kenya. We held a big Fishers of Men graduation for both online students and in-person Swahili students. We were also able to visit 8 congregations who have recently been involved in FOM.
In May, my son, Titus, and I went to work in the Phillippines. We started in Bohol where we were able to participate in a youth camp and held a Fishers of Men graduation for those who completed the recent online class I taught for brethren there. Then we headed north to Umingan and Lupao, where we held two Vacation Bible Schools and were also able to have some personal Bible studies.

We recently finished the Fishers of Men training course in Benton, KY as well as online in the Philippines. These classes combined reported on 192 Bible studies with 58 different souls! Between the two classes, we had only 23 students, but they did well in putting the FOM principles into action! In just a couple of weeks, my son and I plan to travel to the Philippines. We plan to do several different types of work, but part of our trip will be to visit the island of Bohol and recognize the FOM students with a graduation.

We are currently finishing up an online class in Kenya as well. We plan to visit them in July, as well as visit and encourage congregations who have hosted the FOM training course in Swahili. We have a team of Kenyan FOM teachers working with brethren there.

We also have other foreign FOM instructors conducting the training course in their native language. Unfortunately, I cannot give detail about them because of where they are located.
