POOL UPDATE
Starting tomorrow, we are set to begin replacement of the lights on the pool deck. This project IS NOT expected to impact use of the pool.
This installation should be completed in two weeks.

We are beyond excited to share that the Community Center Pool is operating again! Our team is currently in the process of rebalancing the chemicals and making sure everything is in order.
The pool will re-open on Saturday morning (October 1)!

Swim Lessons and Safety Protocols
Come on in! The HCC pool and fitness area are open Mon. & Fri. 7am-4pm, Tues-Thur 7am-8pm. Call 703-787-7300 to make a reservation. Plus, online you can sign up for the Small Group Training classes starting the week of October 19. Herndon-va.gov/recreation #herndonparks #hcc #herndon

Re-Opening the HCC
The HCC will reopen 8/20, 7am-4pm, M-F, for the next two weeks for lap swimming/water walking and exercising in the fitness area. Reservations required. Outdoor One-On-One Personal Training

Grap a chair and a few water bottles or cans to get a full body workout.
Strength Workout with Trey
Trey created a full body workout for all fitness levels. Do this workout at your own pace. Grab your foam roller, mat, and resistance bands. Crank up your favorite tunes and keep moving.

Technogym Upper Body Ergometer Machine at the HCC
We have a new machine in the fitness room and here are a few tips to use the Technogym Upper Body Ergometer. Users can enjoy a varied, stimulating and effective cardio workout. Upper body rotary training improves both your muscular strength and endurance. The new UBE has great versatility as it can be used from a seated or standing position, plus change positions of the rotating handles, the height of the hand cranks, and the length of the telescopic arms.
Jake gets your heart pumping! Our lovely fitness staff have a few tips for you to workout on our newest piece of cardio equipment, a Jacobs Ladder. Come in and give it a try.
