Nate Jensen For Utah Governor - 2016

Nate Jensen For Utah Governor - 2016 It's time for a real conservative in the Utah Governor's office. I am a Republican.

For the past 8 years Utah has had one of the most liberal Republican governors in America. Governor Herbert has increased taxes multiple times, welcomed ObamaCare into Utah, tried to expand Medicaid by $780 Million in Utah, tried to outlaw wood-burning fireplaces and stoves, pushed Utah into Common Core, and done little to get Utah lands back in the hands of Utahns. If elected, I will do the follo

wing:

- I will reverse every tax hike that Governor Herbert has forced upon us, and return tax rates to previous low levels. And I'll cut taxes wherever possible so that Utahns can keep more of their hard-earned money.

- I will fight hard to get Obamacare out of Utah once and for all.

- I will reverse the trend of Medicaid expansion in Utah.

- I will fight Common Core and get Utah education back in the hands of parents and teachers.

- I will reduce the size, scope, and cost of government in Utah. I will burn socialism to the ground in this state and transform government into a lightweight, low-cost servant of the people.

- After our house is put back in order here in Utah, I will lead a conservative movement in this country that will sweep through every state until power is returned to the people and the states, and common-sense conservative government takes hold in our nation once again.

Hey everyone....I went and met with Jonathan Johnson (www.hirejj.com) - Republican candidate for Utah Governor and opponent to Governor Herbert -- at his house for about an hour tonight, and I’m suspending my campaign, and endorsing/supporting him for Governor. The reason I am doing this is because my stance on virtually all issues is nearly identical to Jonathan’s. And since his campaign is well funded, entrenched, and better prepared to oppose Herbert, my candidacy is becoming less productive, and I don’t see much benefit in remaining in the race. I sort of knew from the beginning that it would come to this, but I thought things would end at convention and not weeks before. The next few weeks would have been very expensive and time consuming, and I just don’t have the money and time to continue this at the level I need to. I have met privately with Johnson twice now (tonight, and back in December). He’s a good LDS guy, conservative, etc. He has a real chance of going all the way and I think he’ll make an excellent governor. I’m going to vote for him and I hope you will too.
