🌈 Pride Month is here! 🌈

Pride is a celebration of people having the freedom to live openly, love who they love, and be exactly who they are. It honors the generations of LGBTQ+ advocates who pushed our country forward and reminds us that progress is something worth protecting.

At the Derry Township Democratic Committee, we believe everyone deserves a seat at the table and a voice in our democracy. We are proud to stand for a community where diversity is welcomed, differences are respected, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

This June, we celebrate the joy, strength, and contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community—and recommit ourselves to the values of equality, inclusion, and belonging.

Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

This Memorial Day, the Derry Township Democratic Committee pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are grateful for their sacrifice and the families who carry their memory forward. Today is a reminder that the freedoms we enjoy were secured through courage, service, and an unwavering commitment to something greater than oneself.

As we gather with family and friends, we also reflect on our shared responsibility to uphold the values they defended—freedom, democracy, and the dignity of every person.

We remember. We honor. We are grateful.

Today, the Derry Township Democratic Committee celebrates all who nurture, guide, support, and care for others in ways both big and small.

We honor mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, foster mothers, chosen family, mentors, caregivers, and those who hold the role of “mom” in someone’s life. We also hold space for those who may find this day difficult — those grieving, longing, remembering, or navigating complicated journeys.

Wishing our community care and love on this day

Today is strong with urgency—because May the 4th isn’t just a galactic celebration, it’s your last call to get registered to vote in Pennsylvania’s May 19 primary.

So don’t “force” it to the last minute—make sure your registration is complete by 11:59 p.m. tonight at vote.pa.gov/Register.

Whether you’re on the light side or the dark side of the ballot, every eligible voter has a role in shaping what comes next. And in Pennsylvania’s closed primary, only registered Democrats and Republicans can choose their party’s nominees—but everyone may still weigh in on local questions that affect their community.

Consider this your reminder from across the stars: use the 4th wisely, and may your voice be with you.
