Today we added deer wrangler to our repertoire. After being stuck for an unknown amount of time the buck was successfully freed with help from our community members and Sgt. Weisinger. Thankfully the buck seemed relatively unharmed and was able to resume his roaming safely away from random nets.

Public Notice: Copper Canyon Road Restriping Project
Project Start Date: February 28, 2025
Estimated Duration: Up to 7 days (weather permitting)
Affected Area: Copper Canyon Road, from FM 407 north to the town limits
The Town of Copper Canyon will begin a restriping project on Copper Canyon Road starting February 28. The work is expected to take up to seven days to complete, depending on weather conditions.
During this time, there will be temporary lane closures, and drivers may experience delays. Please use caution when traveling through the area and follow all posted signs and traffic control measures.
