Fire Prevention Week is October 4 -10 and this year's theme "Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging is a Superpower" - reminding everyone to make smart choices every time you plug in your e-bike, vehicle, power tools, or rechargeable devices to help prevent lithium-ion battery fires.

We are thankful for our volunteer firefighters đźš’ who make this week special by visiting the daycares, nursery school, library and elementary school to teach fire safety!

Fire safety begins with everyone!

Ulster County Firefighter Discovery Program.

This is the program for 14-17 year olds to learn about emergency services, focusing on the fire service, hopefully getting them to join their local departments once they turn 16. This program while only in its third year has led to several students joining their home departments. Please share this flyer with anyone you know that might be in the age range.
