It is just after 4:00AM and I just voted NO on the FY27 budget. This budget includes pet projects in Democrat districts, hundreds of millions on immigrant programs, and pay raises for politicians - supplemented by over $800 million in new taxes.

After midnight and we are still here. Nothing good ever happens after midnight in Springfield!

It’s after 10:00 and we still have yet to vote on a budget. If a company were ran like the State of Illinois, it would’ve been out of business years ago.

Today is the final day of the spring legislative session in Springfield. There is still a lot of work to do, so I expect a long day. Stay tuned for updates.

It’s Saturday Night at the Capitol. We adjourn spring session tomorrow, and still have not seen a budget.
