👋 Howdy y'all.

📒 Tonight I'll be at the Oxford Public Library room B at 6pm for the Data Center Town Hall by Ned Zimmer for House Representative.

✊️ Tomorrow I'll be in Port Huron at the Abdul El-Sayed It Shouldn't Be This Hard Tour at 5:30pm. See you there.

👑 Saturday Oct 17th I'll be in Port Huron, Romeo, and Caro for a variety of events, so stay tuned for more info on all of those.

🚜 We are working on getting a Farmers Town Hall set up in Richmond for Thursday Oct 22nd so I can address some of the agricultural issues we face today. Time, and location coming once we've finalized everything (which will probably be tomorrow), and I am in the midst of getting more lined up farther north in the tip of the thumb.

🙌 I will also be up in Holly on Sunday the 25th for a GOTV push in the north Oakland County area. If you've never canvassed before no worries, we have plenty of experienced individuals who can help you out. You may smell lots of c***r and donuts.

👍 We've got more things in the works currently, but you can also always check my website Pooley4Congress.com out and hit the Events button to see what is coming up.

😎 What a busy weekend! I was out in Macomb door knocking a bit on this very rainy Saturday morning, followed by a trip to Rochester, a dinner in Lapeer, and a farmland rally up by Bad Axe yesterday. It was great meeting so many of yall, hearing your concerns, and talking about how we can build this nation up for all of us.

Never forget

👨‍🚒 The sacrifices made by brave people, some who never made it out
🙏 The friends and families we lost too soon
🫂 And the neighbors we leaned on during such an uncertain time

If Make America Great Again meant anything at all to you Lisa, you'd have done it by now and be running on your success instead of saying it again. We've got more debt, more deficit, and more war now than ever. You promised to make things great again already—you don't get to run on that same promise while delivering the opposite.

🍑 I was at Romeo Peach Fest this last weekend speaking with voters about the important issues we all face, and it basically boils down to this:

We're overworked, overtaxed, and underpaid. We're $40 trillion in debt, everything has gotten more expensive, and people can't seem to keep up or get ahead in this economy. This November we have a choice whether we want to continue down this path or elect a working class man who wants to build this nation up for all of us.

🐔 Happy National Chicken Month! Nora here hopes yall have an egg-cellent rest of your evening. Tomorrow I'll go over taxes some more and answer a few questions that have popped up. Congress may be full of chickens, but I'm not afraid to explain my positions.

Let's talk taxes for a minute. I've got 10 words for yall.

❓️ Remember I said I had a surprise visit on Thursday?

Surprise! I loved speaking to other voters post meeting about how we can build this nation up, get the economy back on track, and the cost of this unwanted war. I was hoping the chair members would ask about my tax plan but instead...

I will say if your first question is about transgender surgeries you're going to find out how foolish you sound very quickly. There are more pressing issues, you should love your neighbor and stop worrying about what's in someone elses pants. I hope the chair members learned that valuable lesson from this experience with me 😎

Also the county clerk shouldn’t talk about keeping Democrats off the ballot either. That was pretty distasteful, Jodi Fetting.

Yesterday I got up at 5am, worked 6 to 4:30, and left home in Highland at 5:30 to be up in Vassar at 7:30pm to door knock last night. Plopped a couple signs in yards, shook some hands, but more importantly I met a sugar beet farmer who's been struggling. We talked about fertilizer, diesel, the cost of machinery and equipment, land prices, getting more younger people into farming (he's 30 and I'm almost 35), how to keep and expand American farming instead of constantly importing, and eventually we ended up exchanging numbers. I'll be reaching back out to him later today to discuss more.

I also do want to wish Lisa McClain best of luck today with her Dinner on the Farm event in Vassar. I'll be in Springfield Township tonight for their Data Center ordinance meeting, after I meet with the UAW about bringing manufacturing back of course. Tomorrow is family day, and Thursday I'm back up in Tuscola County for... a surprise 😎

See you tonight in Springfield.
