Current residents and drop-in clients are invited to join us at Safe Place this Tuesday, April 7 at 11 a.m. for a free Narcan and harm reduction training hosted by Project RED. Overdose prevention experts will walk you through how and when to administer Narcan in a supportive, judgment-free space where all questions are welcome.

The young people at Safe Place kicked off the new year with exciting outings and several opportunities for self-expression! This past month, we came together for a hands-on cooking class where young people learned to prepare homemade chicken katsu, then bonded while painting some new art to decorate the shelter. We also got out into the community to explore the dinosaur exhibit at OMSI and hit the green for some friendly competition at Topgolf. 2026 is off to a great start, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!
