The polls have closed on election day and the results are in. While they're not the outcome we hoped for, I wanted to extend my most heartfelt and sincerest thank you to everyone who supported us in this campaign. Division 15 has never belonged to me, but to the people of Jefferson County who I serve. Serving as Associate Circuit Judge of Division 15 these last two years has been the greatest honor of my life and career.

This campaign has been an incredible experience. I am touched at all the messages of support and encouragement I received along the way. I am overwhelmed by the amount of people that were willing to give their time, effort, and treasure to help us succeed. We made unbelievable friends and allies through this process that I hope to maintain for the rest of my life. Getting to experience how wonderful Jefferson County and its people can be has also been quite the adventure.

My family and friends have been amazing through this long and demanding season. They've been there for me through it all and I love them dearly. I want to extend my most sincere and deepest gratitude to my kids who have sacrificed their summer for this election and to my wife, best friend, and love of my life, Ashley. I can't imagine how I ever would have gotten here without her.

Congratulations to Hughes for Judge on your election to Division 15. I look forward to working with you over the coming months to make your transition to this seat as smooth as possible. I know you will excel in this role and pick up right where we left off.

Until I leave in January, we will continue to honor and celebrate the adoptions and weddings in Division 15. I'll be around and always ready and willing to help anyone who needs me. I remain dedicated to you in whatever capacity I can serve. Jefferson County is my home and you are my people. Thank you!

Happy Election Day Jefferson County! The polls open at 6am and close at 7pm tonight! Be sure you get out to a poll and vote!

Also... ITS MY BIRTHDAY! How blessed I am to be able to celebrate it with thousands of you at the polling places today. My birthday wish is for as many people as possible to come to the polls and cast their vote, whether you're a Democrat or Republican, no matter who you're supporting in the primaries. Jeffco is divided right now, but we all have much, much more in common than we think.

I would be honored to have your vote and support. Division 15 doesn't belong to me, it belongs to you! I hope I've earned your trust in the time I have been granted the privilege of presiding over these cases and I am asking to keep serving for four more years. Thank you all and God bless!

I'm honored and humbled to have the endorsement of former governor of Missouri, Mike Parson. Out of all the applicants for this position when Judge Yates retired, Governor Parson trusted in my litigation experience and dedication to public service. He has been kind enough to continue to support me as I seek to retain my seat. I am humbly asking the people of Jefferson County to extend that same trust to me tomorrow on primary election day. Serving in this role has been the greatest honor and privilege of my life and I'm proud of what we've been able to accomplish together in my relatively brief time in Division 15, but there's so much more to be done! I would be honored to have your vote and support.

Happy Election Eve everyone! What a great weekend wrapping up the primary campaign trail. I got out this morning with my best friend and wife, Ashley, to cast our votes. Saturday we attended the Friends of the NRA Dinner and last night we had the honor of attending the ceremonial signing of Bentley and Mason's Law, which was championed by State Representative Cecelie Williams and Senator Mike Henderson. It was a beautiful and touching ceremony!

Tomorrow is Primary Election Day. If you haven't yet voted and live in Jefferson County, please make time to get out to your polling location and vote! Encourage your friends and family to vote! These elections directly impact YOU and your family.

Thank you again to the Jefferson County Growth Association for giving us this opportunity to share more about who we are. It's extremely important that the people of Jefferson County are able to make informed and educated decisions in elections that will directly impact them and their families. The Jefferson County Growth Association invited more than 40 political candidates to speak at a candidates’ forum July 23 about their beliefs and initiatives they plan to champion if elected in the Aug. 4 primary.
