LET'S PLAY! TOGETHER REGISTRATION IS OPEN and the program will be at 10am on Wednesdays from September 16th - October 14th.

“Let’s Play! Together” is a free five-week program for toddlers and their parents/caregivers. This fun, informal, play-based program provides a rich environment of toys, books and art activities. Families have the opportunity to spend time together, make new friends, and talk one-on-one with a different community resource professional each week.

​Children must be between the ages of 1-3 years old. Registration is required.

Join us for a Book Signing on Saturday, September 19th from 10 am to 12 noon for local resident Earnest Whitfield, author of the book "It's a Man's World! Or Is It?"

From the author: "Too often, we have forgotten our purpose on this earth. We have become more concerned about our constitutional rights rather than what is actually right. We have become more concerned about who's the boss or head in the family we forget our God-given role, trying to establish our self-serving position in the family, church, and society.

Hopefully, the reading of this book will cause us to redefine our roles in this circle that we call life. Read with thoughtfulness and thankfulness. For we could be living in a different world, where choices may not be an option."

It’s Book Club Day! Join us this evening at 6pm at the library as we discuss The Barbizon Hotel for Women in New York City. This month’s selections are “The Dollhouse” by Fiona Davis and “The Barbizon” by Paulina Bren. Join us even if you haven’t read either book and learn the fascinating history of this iconic hotel.
