Recently George White Middle School Teacher Ms. Esther Douglass represented Hillsdale Public Schools at NJIT's 2nd Annual NASA Conference! She presented her published work and lessons on Space Weather and AI simulations, showcasing the innovative STEM experiences we are building right here in our district.

Our Bergen Brain Busters Competitive Quiz Bowl Team won first place in the County Tournament at Ramapo College! Fifty eight teams competed. After three preliminary rounds, the team placed fourth making it to the sudden death final rounds. Hillsdale beat Paramus Westbrook and then in a nail-biter defeated Oakland to face Old Tappan in the final round. In the last bout, Hillsdale prevailed, beating Old Tappan 150 to 80. Mr. Burzinski is very proud of the team's hard work that led to their success as Bergen County Champions!
