Update: The resolution to spend emergency radio millage funds on body cams for the Sheriff's department fails 4-1. Here Commissioner Ingles shares his reason for voting no: voters did not approve this use of funds, and extra funds should be used to pay down the bond, rather than spent on other projects. Brent Leininger, who presented the body cam proposal, was the only one to vote in favor. Thanks to all who wrote in, urging our Commissioners to spend millage money only as voters have expressly consented!
