🚒🎀 Support Hingham Firefighters' Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser!

Hingham Firefighters Local 2398 is proud to kick off our annual breast cancer fundraiser! We are selling our custom campaign shirts for $25 each, with kids' sizes also available.

All net proceeds from the shirt sales will go directly to the South Shore Health Foundation, providing vital support to patients and their families in times of need.

Overnight on September 13th, we responded to reports of a possible petroleum leak from a vessel at the Shipyard Marinas. Acting quickly out of an abundance of caution, the FIre Department deployed a containment boom around the boat to protect our local waterways.
Upon inspection, we found some petroleum product in the vessel’s bilge, some of which may have accidentally discharged while rainwater was being pumped out. Thankfully, this was not a large-scale release, though the trace amounts in the water were unrecoverable.
