At 1:00pm today I will be testing the tornado siren. There has been conversation that people are unable to hear them. Just a reminder they are meant for people that are outside to go indoors and seek shelter. I will be on Orbit and outside when I test them.

Along with the NHTSA seatbelt High-visibility traffic enforcement, Hinton PD will be doing additional patrols enforcing the state’s new speed zones through the town of Hinton. Be advised speeds are 35mph through town. Just follow the signs and make sure to slow down. Drive safe and remember to buckle up and slow down.
