Our Cornish, Maine, facility recently completed a job shadowing program for a Sacopee Valley High School senior.

Lily Kick finished her Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO), gaining hands-on experience across multiple production areas, including inspection, material layout, 5-axis CNC machining, and shipping, before working with our engineering team using Solid Edge CAD, Zoller programming, and ANCA software.

Lily demonstrated strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to learning throughout her experience. We were pleased to support her development and wish her continued success as she pursues a degree in Mechanical Engineering this fall.

🏆 SACOPEE VALLEY PRIDE ON THE SLOPES! 🏆

Join us in celebrating our incredible Special Olympics Ski Team! After six weeks of hard work and training at Pleasant Mountain, four of our student-athletes traveled to Lost Valley on February 26th to represent our community at the Special Olympics Maine Winter Games. ❄️🎿

These athletes didn't just compete; they shined! Demonstrating incredible sportsmanship and heart, they brought home an amazing total of 8 medals:
🥇 3 Gold
🥈 3 Silver
🥉 2 Bronze

🎒 Calling all future Hawks! Sacopee Valley Pre-K Registration for Fall 2026 is officially OPEN! 🎒

We are so excited to welcome our youngest learners to MSAD 55. Our all-day, five-day-a-week program focuses on literacy, math, science, art, music, and social growth.

🗓️ SCREENING DATES:
Appointments will be scheduled for:

* Friday, March 13, 2026
* Friday, March 27, 2026

✍️ HOW TO REGISTER:

1. Online: Visit www.sad55.org to print the registration form and mail/deliver it to the Superintendent's Office.
2. In-Person: Visit the Superintendent's Office (Mon-Fri, 8 am - 4 pm).

📋 WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

☑️Child’s birth certificate (with state seal)
☑️ Immunization records
☑️ Proof of residency
☑️ Income verification (applicable for certain slots)

⚠️ ELIGIBILITY: Students must be at least four years old by October 15, 2026.

🗒️Note: Slots are anticipated to be provided in the order that all requirements are fulfilled, so don't wait!
