Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to the outstanding educators of Sachem Schools!

I am proud to recognize and celebrate the incredible work happening across our district every single day. From the continued success of our Sachem Academy, Advanced Placement and honors programs, to the creativity fostered in our fine arts and music departments, to the dedication of our coaches and advisors in athletics and extracurricular activities.

Sachem teachers consistently go above and beyond to provide meaningful opportunities for every student.

I am equally grateful for the impact of our special education teams, ENL educators, and support staff who ensure that every child is seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Their commitment makes Sachem a place where students thrive.

The passion, resilience, and unwavering dedication shape not only academic success, but the character and future of our community.

Such a dedicated group within Sachem. I had the pleasure of watching them perform at East a few months back and was so impressed with the teamwork and dedication!

🎁 Shoutout to the incredible students running the Toy Drive at Sachem North!

What began as a community service initiative through the Science Honor Society has truly taken on a life of its own, now serving hundreds of children across the Sachem community who will receive gifts this holiday season.

Throughout the school day, students have transformed the Little Theater into a hub of generosity, organizing, bagging, and handing out toys to teachers and staff from our local elementary schools. Running like a well-oiled machine, their teamwork, leadership, and compassion are on full display.

This is yet another proud moment of community service at Sachem North—proof that our tradition of excellence extends far beyond the building, driven by the big hearts of our students and staff.
