💻 We’re excited to share that Ben Anderson will be stepping into the role of Technology Director for Holden R-3!
Since joining the district as Assistant Technology Director, Ben has quickly become a valued part of our team. “There is a great sense of community and camaraderie here, and I’m blessed to be a part of it.” 💙
Working closely with Tyler Jolly this year has helped prepare Ben for this next step, giving him firsthand experience supporting the technology needs of our students and staff.
Ben is excited to continue helping classrooms succeed by equipping staff and students with the tools and skills needed to enhance instruction and learning. He says one of the best parts of the job is seeing the relief and smiles that come from helping someone solve a problem. 😊
Please join us in congratulating Ben on his new role!

Heather has been a valued part of Holden Elementary School as a Title Paraprofessional, where she’s supported students and celebrated their growth. “I’ve loved watching students build confidence and being part of such a supportive team.” 💗
📝 Her experience with lesson planning, classroom management, and working with a variety of students has prepared her well for this next step. Now, she’s excited to have a classroom of her own—building relationships and watching her students learn and grow each day.

👏🏼 We’re excited to share that Dustin Orton will be stepping into a new role as our JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) Specialist!
Dustin has been a familiar face in 6th grade social studies, where he’s built strong relationships with students and helped create a classroom rooted in connection and growth. 💙 “What I’ve enjoyed most about my time at Holden R-3 so far is the incredible sense of community and heart that fills this district every day."
🌎 Those relationships will continue to be a strength as he transitions into JAG, where he’s excited to support students beyond a single classroom and help prepare them for what comes next.
A fun twist—Dustin didn’t originally plan to become a teacher. He once hoped to open a restaurant, but a change in direction led him to a classroom… and he quickly realized it was exactly where he was meant to be. 📌
Outside of school, Dustin’s world revolves around his family—his wife Amanda (who also teaches in the district), and their two children, Cooper and Eliza.
Please join us in congratulating Dustin on his new role!

Tyler is excited for the opportunity to make a bigger impact—supporting staff, connecting with families, and helping shape the direction of the building.
Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Miranda, and their daughter, Eowyn. 🥰
Please join us in congratulating Tyler on his new role!
