Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote yesterday.

I loved having my children see their mom stand on her own.

There was so much learned from this experience. I’m grateful for the friends and neighbors who stood by me with their votes.

4 days to election!

If you’re unable to make it Tuesday, you have until 12 noon on Monday, May 23, 2022 to submit an absentee ballot and be able to vote at Town Hall.

Please take a listen to my feelings on the importance of Challengers in an Election Cycle!

6 days to go!

I walked around Mudville last night and had a great time sharing my background, experiences and thoughts on Finance Committee.

I got a lot of positive feedback from people that have seen the HCAT interview with Mary Greendale so I’m sharing it here for anyone who hasn’t had the opportunity to watch.

Host Mary Greendale sits down with Hayley Fetrow, Candidate for Finance Committee, for the 2022 Town Election on May 24.All Town Election coverage can be fou...

I appreciated the opportunity given by Diverse Holliston to answer questions of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility.

As someone who grew up in public housing in Allston-Brighton, I attended elementary and middle Boston Public Schools. I received a need-based scholarship to attend a local parochial high school and then attended a state college. In my early years, I benefited from many programs that were intended to bridge the divide, create equity for low-income families and increase accessibility to education and future financial security.

My experience in low-income housing is one of the drivers behind my career to ensure financial stability of the organizations for which I work. I have found a way to contribute to a structure that provided me with many opportunities.

My hope is that my participation in the Finance Committee will include new outreach and bringing individuals to the table. Holliston would benefit from greater power-sharing and it begins with new membership.

One week to go! Please remember to vote on May 24th.

The sample ballot has been released 🗳 it’s a tough spot to be the 4th position when voters see you may vote for three but that’s how the ballot goes in a non-partisian race with incumbents.

Please share with your friends & neighbors and let’s get the votes to move out of that bottom spot!

A question I get asked a lot: what is it you actually do with housing authorities?

Most often, my company HSF Consulting works with financially troubled housing authorities (or those on the cusp) and identifies those improvements that will set them on track. Often, I act as Chief Financial Officer or Director of Finance.

Working with the Medway Housing Authority, has been a great experience of growth for me to serve as the Executive Director. When I came on board in 2018, there were capital funds not spent, improvements to be procured and overseen, no software integration with most processes performed manually, and 3 out of 5 housing programs with either negative equity or below acceptable levels.

Today, we are thriving: winning federal and state grants for Resident Services, earning coveted High Performer ratings from HUD and have all 5 programs in positive equity.

If elected to Finance Committee, I will take this same approach to reviewing budgets and finding areas for improvement.

If you’ve ever wondered how we support seniors and families, feel free to take a listen!

With town meeting behind us, I’m excited to have my first night walking neighborhoods and meeting voters.

There are just two weeks to Town Election on May 24th. I’m taking every opportunity to introduce myself and share how my knowledge and experience will benefit the Town.
