🎉🎂 Celebrating My 71st Birthday and Juneteenth 🎂🎉

Today is a very special day as I celebrate my 71st birthday on Juneteenth, a day that symbolizes freedom, resilience, hope, and progress.

I am truly grateful to God for blessing me with another year of life, countless memories, wonderful family and friends, and the opportunity to serve my community through the work of Community Enhancement Collaboration.

Over the years, I have learned that life is not always easy, but faith, perseverance, and the support of others can carry us through even the most challenging times. Today, I reflect on the many blessings in my life, including the people who have encouraged me, worked alongside me, prayed for me, and joined me in making a difference in the lives of others.

As I celebrate this milestone, I am thankful for 71 years of life, 46 years of marriage, and 44 years of community service. These years have taught me the value of love, compassion, dedication, and the importance of giving back.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey. Your love, support, friendship, and prayers mean more than words can express.

Today, I celebrate freedom, family, community, service, and the countless blessings God has bestowed upon me.

Certain days allow for greater giving, while others are less extensive. Today is one such day with lighter activities, but the impact of serving each family is significant. Our team completed 46 deliveries to homes and assisted approximately 40 vehicles via the drive-thru service. Whether serving many or few, our commitment remains steadfast to aiding the community with dignity, empathy, and kindness. Thanks are due to everyone who supports Community Enhancement Collaboration and our service recipients. ❤️. “It’s not about the size of the harvest, but the faithfulness of the sowing.”

Today, I'd like to share a piece of my heart. I arrived late to take Jackie Broski to Walmart to grab some essentials, including chicken, for our Mobile Food Pantry distribution today. After waiting on her, I sat down on a bench to catch my breath while waiting. As I looked around, I noticed a few individuals experiencing homelessness nearby. I found myself reflecting on their stories and the challenges they face. Life has a way of taking unexpected turns, doesn't it? You know, sometimes people face hardships, but that doesn't define their worth. As I sat there, I reflected on the journey that has led me to where I am today. There was a time when I knew what it meant to be homeless, but I'm a testament to the power of hope and support. I owe a debt of gratitude to my husband, Ulyses McCrea, whose love and support were instrumental in helping me turn my life around. In that moment, I realized how fortunate I am. With gratitude, I want to thank God for His unwavering grace and mercy. I'm thankful for the love and support of my husband, family, and friends who've been my rock throughout life's ups and downs. True friendship isn't measured by proximity, but by the love and support we show one another in times of need. This morning, my heart overflows with gratitude. Thank you, God, for Your endless mercy. Thank you, family, for your unwavering support. Thank you, dear friends, for being a source of strength. Let's never underestimate the power of kindness, compassion, and support, for it can change the course of someone's life forever.
