Cruise to Holt Join us Friday nights in Holt. May through September, 5-8 p.m. Dash Plaques and Giveaways:
An annual dash plaque is free to all attendees. Or just come to look.

* Food Truck on 1st and 3rd Friday of the month.
* DJ on 1st Friday of the month.
* No entry fee Weekly cruise-ins every Friday night at the Holt Farmers' Market parking lot. 5-8 p.m., May through September. Food Trucks:
1st and 3rd Friday of the month features a Food Truck.
1st Friday of the month also features a DJ. Special giveaways throughout the year. Pick of the Week:
A trophy will be awarded each week! Nobody will get picked more than once, so come often for a better chance for it to be you! Everyone Welcome:
Bring your classic car, modern car, project car or bike. Whatever you want to show off! Support Local Business:
Visit the many restaurants, bars, ice cream shops and other businesses before or after.

Our final Pick of the Week last Friday went to Tom Erekson for his 1974 AMC Hornet Land Speed Race Car. The Hornet hatchback is built to compete on the Bonneville Salt Flats in SCTA's Classic Altered Fuel class (FALT). The 440 c.i. AMC V-8 is in SCTA's engine class A. The "Flying Mile" A/FALT record is 250.708 mph, set in 2008. The Hornet has passed tech inspection at Bonneville, and has completed 4 licensing runs. A wind tunnel test shows this Hornet easily reaching 260 mph. This is quite a machine and we appreciate your bringing it out, Tom.

Another one of our Picks of the Week went to Albert Thocker for his 1971 Camaro. The car was originally orange and black. It was painted this beautiful green (pictures don’t do it justice) by the well-known Larry Kennedy. It has a 605 c.i. engine putting out 1,000 hp. We appreciate you bringing it out for all to see, Albert.
