COMMUNITY ALERT
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

On July 26, 2024 a burglary with forcible entry occurred in the 8700 block of Kilbourn Ave. We believe the burglary occurred Sometime in the morning, possibly at 8:30 AM. Unknown offender(s) gain entry through the rear door, apparently prying the door open with an unknown tool.

The vehicle below, is a vehicle of interest. It was seen in the area on July 25 between 3:00 and 3:30 PM, as well as on July 26. The vehicle was observed backing into the victim’s driveway at about 8:30 AM on the 26th . 

The vehicle is believed to be a silver Audi or Infinity with tinted windows. Clear pictures will be posted if obtained.

If any resident observed this vehicle, and or anybody coming in and out of the vehicle, please contact the Hometown Police Department at (708) 422-2189.
If the vehicle is seen in the area again, please do not approach. Call the police department or 911

CVS on 87th & Cicero is closing in January. They are requesting those who use them to transfer your prescription program to Target CVS on 95th street in Oak Lawn. Sooner rather than later as they will not be ordering anymore medication to their surplus.

Just got back from the fest. Great food and many activities for the children. All workers , vendors , attendees and the organizers were so warm and welcoming. Great to see an event like this again in hometown.

When I read my wife's post yesterday she never ceases to amaze me. Others now see what I always known about my wifes big heart and get it done attitude. Great job babe ❤❤❤❤
I was saddened to read about the post about a homeless person at the shopping center.
I went to see what was up I met a very nice shy women named Roxanne. I chatted with her gave her water asked her if she was hungry she was very hesitant at first but she finally said ok is McDonalds good I said sure. I contacted Chief Lou who will see her and contacted Sarah Galvan from almost home .
She wants help I told her I contacted the two people she said ok thank you.
At the end of her conversation I at least had her smile I wonder how long it's been since she smiled.
Be kind and dont always think the worst of people..❤❤
