For three decades Sandra Simms has celebrated Juneteenth in Hawaii with her family. The first event she remembers attending in the early 1990s was an informal potluck-style gathering at Neal S. Today President Biden will sign a law that amends Title 5 to establish Juneteenth as a FEDERAL Holiday 🙌🏾

We are thrilled to have seen our effort all the way through and are overjoyed for our friends at the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation for the culmination of 20 years of hard work.
