So this has not but updated in awhile, but that will all change this upcoming summer.

Currently, Lake Hopatcong is in competition with other water bodies across the U.S. We are currently neck to neck with Lake George to receive a grant that would allow the Lake Hopatcong Foundation to create a map for the lake that may be turned into an app. Please vote below and help out the Lake Hopatcong Foundation!

the lake finally has some ice on it, but at this point its just a bunch of slushy ice not thicker than a centimeter
