Borough Traffic Advisory - Week of August 24th: West Broad Detour Continues and Night Work Planned

Upcoming Recreation Events (but no August Cruise Night on 8/14):

The Borough Recreation flyer (linked below) lists many great events this summer and fall, including a concert on Friday August 28th featuring “Broad Street Union” and ongoing Quoits, Horseshoes, and Co****le games every Wednesday at the Train Station through Labor Day. Due to vacation schedules and a lower than expected summer response from area car enthusiasts, the Cruise Night originally listed for Friday August 14th has been canceled.

Elizabethtown Gas has informed the Borough this morning that as part of their repaving project, North Greenwood Avenue will be closed today, August 7th. Elizabethtown and their contractors had previously assured the Hopewell Borough and its engineers that work would be conducted one side at a time with flaggers alternating traffic – please expect delays today. Additional information will be provided when it is received from HTPD and Elizabethtown.
