☮️💙 Building peace, one connection at a time!

7th graders from Bauxite and Malvern joined our Hot Springs Junior Academy 7th grade GT students for the 4th annual Peace Day Celebration! 🤝✨

In recognition of Arkansas Peace Week, students made new friends, explored conflict styles and cooperation, and worked together on a community art project. 🎨🫶

It was a great day of learning how kindness, collaboration and understanding can help build stronger communities. 🌎💛

Today, we’re blasting off for Disney to HOCO and Beyond! 🚀🏰✨

We can’t wait to see the Disney magic and out-of-this-world looks across HSSD! 💫💛🖤

🎉 Spirit Week is in FULL SWING at ! 🖤💛

🏴‍☠️👑 Yesterday, our halls were filled with plenty of Pirates & Princesses—and today, things are looking a little… out of place! 😂

🍲 Life skills were cooking at Main Street Visual and Performing Arts Magnet School! 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳

Mrs. Vega-Moss’ students put their new crockpot to work by making vegetable soup! 🥕🥔 Along the way, they practiced following directions, measuring, kitchen safety, teamwork and preparing a simple meal. 🙌

A BIG thank you to the Hot Springs Public Schools Education Foundation for the grant that made this hands-on learning experience possible! 💛🖤

📜Last week, students in Ms. Gregory’s 4th grade science and social studies classes at Main Street Visual and Performing Arts Magnet School celebrated Constitution Day by learning about the key pieces, why it is important to our country, and what it would be like without this important document. Students read all about the Founding Fathers, discussed the Constitutional Convention, and wrote about why they think the Constitution is important. We are thankful for our Constitution! ❤️🤍💙
