The Texas legislature created the North Fort Bend Water Authority (β€œNFBWA”) in 2005 to help prevent the sinking of the land, also known as subsidence. The NFBWA serves its Groundwater Reduction Plan (β€œGRP”) Participants by providing water, by implementing conservation to protect our water for future generations, and by educating residents on the value of water.
