Lunch will be at be at Campioni's at 13850 Cutten Road at 12:15 PM. We will be celebrating everyone's birthday for the entire year at lunch so bring a gift and a card ($15). Come to the party even if you can't come to the Lanier tour.

Region 3D TSTA Retired enjoyed a bus trip to Washington on the Brazos and the Chappell Hill Lavender Farm today. These were the bluebonnets at the Visitor Center.

Region 3D TSTA Retired were at Andre Elementary School in the Cy Fair School District today to celebtate the birthday of Dr. Seuss during Read Across America by reading to students and donating books for their library and students. Firmine Stoerkel is reading to students in a classroom. Margaret Brown, Janet Buxkemper and Jo Ann Peschel also participated in the event planned by Margaret Brown.

What a day! Our Region 3D TSTA Retired Daycation to League City.
We started the day in class at the West Bay Common Day School had lunch at the Outriggers Restaurant in Seabrook and finished at the Butler Longhorn Museum. Arlene planned such a wonderful trip on a very beautiful day!

March 25-27, 2014, TSTA Retired members hosted the NEA-Retired Conference, Westin Galleria Hotel, Houston, TX. Close to 300 NEA-R members from all over the US attended. We greeted and handed out 'Welcome Bags' to all attendees. Great workshops. Great responses from attendees. A special opening session where members were welcomed to Texas by TSTA President, Rita Heacker and our state retired president, Louise Watkins. The Keynote Speaker: State Representative Sylvester Turner, Houston.
