While sorting CBH documents I came across this company photograph from 1999-2000. It was traditional to take at least 1 photo each year in Margo Marshall's backyard. CBH would love to hear from our alumni company members and of course as a 501c not for profit we always appreciate your support. I am tagging everyone who likes our page, please share this post.
CBH performer, Mariana Camarena competed at the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition. Contestants were selected from 1000s of videos submitted from all over the world. Mariana competed in classical ballet and contemporary. CBH could not be more proud of Mariana who attended Advanced ballet classes, rehearsed and attended coaching sessions sometimes 7 days a week. Her work ethic is incomparable and her smile is infectious. Congratulations Mariana, you are an accomplished young lady full of talent.
CBH is proud of performer Sophie Falcon. Sophie was selected from an international stage to compete in the 2017 NYC Finals for the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition. We congratulate her accomplishment, each division contained less than 30 contestants though thousands of contestant videos were submitted. Sophie takes Advanced ballet 6 days a week, rehearses almost daily and to compete in VKIBC, she completed many, many hours of coaching session on Sundays and after her normal classes and rehearsals. Sophie is a stellar student and an accomplished performer with so many neat tricks but her inner beauty is unsurpassed.

CBH would like to congratulate the following Youth America Grand Prix contestants: Carolyn Branca, Naiya Byrne, Faith Davis, Sophie Falcon, Emma Foster, Delaney Hart, Ryleigh Ward and Catherine Stiles. These ladies have worked hard since October for this competition taking at least 10 hours of ballet weekly, rehearsing daily and attending additional YAGP rehearsal sessions on Friday evenings & Sunday afternoons at Academy of City Ballet of Houston. We are so proud of these talented ladies and congratulations to Delaney for placing in the top 12 of a field of 180 competitors.
