Make It Right! is a HCDAO program to help you clean up your record by getting outstanding warrants removed and pending cases resolved for FREE and NO risk of arrest. On Saturday, February 23rd, we will hold Make it Right! for individuals with outstanding Class C warrant(s) or other pending charges in Harris County Precinct 7.
Attorneys will be on-site to provide you with legal advice and counsel. Employers and volunteers from local, community-based organizations will be on hand with information about jobs, job training, educational opportunities, as well as legal referral services.

Carpenter Needed in the Houston Area!!!
We are seeking a unique Maintenance Carpenter to join our Maintenance team. The Maintenance Carpenter under general supervision, performs work as needed to maintain and repair facility operating systems before and during event times. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion. Also, acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

Maintenance Craftsman Needed in the Houston Area!!
Duties:
-Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, re-lamping, replacing ceiling tiles, door hardware repair, and correcting simple plumbing problems, as required.
-Prepare a variety of surfaces (e.g. cleaning, sanding, patching, masking, nail holes, cracks, joints, etc.) to insure they are ready for painting and/or refinishing.
Operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment, including brush, roll, sprayers and electrostatic sprayers, pumps, etc.
High School diploma or GED and 1 - 3 months related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
•Know general techniques in painting, plumbing, carpentry, and building hardware maintenance and electrical/lighting systems.
•Shop math applicable to the building trades.
•Possess understanding of the operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services, and technical requirements for the types of events anticipated at the facility.
Valid Class C-Standard Driver's License required to operate work vehicles onsite as necessary.
Candidate must pass background check. Convictions will be reviewed on a case by case basis; No Felonies; convictions will not necessarily bar a candidate's employment.

Fuel Safety Trainer needed in Houston!!
Job Description
The Railroad Commission of Texas is seeking an Alternative Fuels Instructor to lead and teach classes and conduct hands-on demonstrations for LP-Gas, Compressed Natural Gas and Liquefied Natural Gas managers and technicians in the Alternative Fuels Safety Training Program. The Instructor is responsible for designing and developing effective and engaging instructional materials for an instructor-led classroom environment. The instructor will be tasked with developing curriculum materials and classroom demonstrations consistent with sound instructional design principles. In addition, the individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and meet projected deadlines.
Travel: 50% of the time
Pay: $2,748-$3750
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in education, instructional design, instructional technology, training and development, or a related field.
OR
Four years' or more of professional experience with LP-gas, CNG, LNG or Natural Gas operations.
• One year of direct pertinent experience in vocational technology or instructional training design for adults, including development of curriculum and materials.
• Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
