Welcome to Brian Henritze
New Associate Director
Office of Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelization

It is with great joy that I introduce to all, Brian Henritze as the newest associate director of the Office of Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelization.

Brian is a husband and father of three who is currently a parish youth and young adult ministry director in the Diocese of Orange and possesses several credentials including the National Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies through the Center for Ministry Development and a Master Catechist Certificate through the Diocese of Orange.

In the area of formal education, Brian has a B.S. in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University of Fullerton and an M.A. in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH.

He's been working professionally in youth ministry for 10 years in parishes in Los Angeles and Orange.

“It is perhaps one of the greatest times in history to be a Catholic. The whole world and its culture is one of the greatest mission fields that we as disciples of Christ could ever hope to serve in. For the last ten years I have worked as a parish leader of youth and young adult ministry. I have consistently sought to engage the youth culture in deepening and living out the Catholic faith. I truly long to see the Church shine forth as the place where the suffering heart of the world is united with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ.

The Catholic Church is, by Her very nature, missionary. The call of the new evangelization is for all, not just for a few. It is imperative that we as a church continually seek out new and innovative ways of handing on the faith which we have received from those who have come before us.

I have a great passion to see the Church embrace the fullness of its mission.” Brian Henritze

Please keep Brian, his wife Amanda and three children in your prayers as they prepare to move to Houston. His start date is August 16, 2016.

Welcome Dunn Milan Estacio
New Associate Director
Office of Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelization

It is with great joy that we welcome Dunn Milan Estacio as the newest member of the OACE staff in the role of associate director.

Dunn brings with him a wealth of ministerial knowledge and work on both the parish and national levels. He comes to the Curia after serving the parish of St. Michael (Houston) as the Director of Youth Faith Formation. He has also served in the Couples for Christ movement as a missionary training youth and adult leaders on a national level.

Dunn is a graduate of the University of Houston with an undergraduate degree in psychology and a graduate from the University of St. Thomas with a graduate degree in pastoral studies.

“My love for Jesus Christ and His Church is the foundation and center of my service to the young people and their families. Through catechesis and evangelization, I pray the young people of our archdiocese are prepared for their vocations and become disciples of Jesus Christ as they go out into the world.” Dunn Milan Estacio

Please pray for Dunn, his family, and St. Michael’s Parish as he begins his transition to the Office of Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelization. His first day with us will be Monday, January 25, 2016.
